# Report a compliance case anonymously

# Report a compliance case anonymously {#ariaid-title1}

Submit any suspected or confirmed compliance case without having to
disclose your identity using the Anonymous Reporting Center (ARC).

## Before you begin

Role required: To access Employee Center, you must have the sn_comp_case.compliance_case_business_user
role.

## About this task

When submitting an anonymous report, don't include personal data about yourself or other individuals that could directly or indirectly reveal an identity. For example,
do not include names, email addresses, or phone
numbers.  
Avoid including executable code, scripts, or unsupported special characters, which will be removed automatically during submission. For more information, refer to [Overview of Anonymous Reporting

Note:  

## Procedure

1. Navigate to AllSelf-ServiceEmployee Center.
2. On the Employee Center landing page, select Risk and compliance.
3. Select the Visit Anonymous Report Center card.  
   You're signed out of your employee account to maintain anonymity.
4. Select Continue.
5. On the ARC landing page, select Submit a report anonymously.
6. Select Report a compliance case.
7. On the Report a Compliance Case form, fill in the fields.

8. Enter the CAPTCHA verification code displayed on the screen in the Text verification field.
9. Select Submit.
10. Save a PDF copy of your report that includes the report key and report number by selecting Download report copy.  
    Note:  
    You need the report key and report number to access updates or comments related to your report.

## Result

A compliance case is created and routed to the compliance case team for review. Your identity remains anonymous and is recorded as a guest.

If assigned case analysts need more details, they might add comments to the report. To respond to their comments, refer to [Follow up on a case anonymously](https://servicenow-prod.fluidtopics.net/zPNTOXrhbjN4Inlgt47b1g "Check the status of your case on the Anonymous Reporting Center and follow up on any required additional details.").
