# Activate GRC case summarization

# Activate the GRC case summarization skill {#ariaid-title1}

Activate the GRC case summarization skill from the AI Admin Hub to generate AI-powered summaries of compliance case records.

## Before you begin

Role required: sn_nowassist_admin.nsa_admin and sn_nowassist_admin.user  
Note:  
The skill is turned on by default if you have ServiceNow Otto for IRM installed. The skill is automatically available to appropriate role users for the applications. For more information, see [AI agents, skills, and agentic workflows on by default](https://www.servicenow.com/docs/access?context=now-assist-skills-on-by-default&version=australia&pubname=australia-intelligent-experiences&ft:locale=en-US).

## Procedure

1. Navigate to Admin CenterAI Admin Hub.
2. On the AI Skills tab, navigate to TechnologyRisk \& Sustainability.  
   The skills applicable to Risk \& Sustainability are displayed.
3. On the GRC case summarization card, select Activate skill.
4. Review the skill configuration details on each tab, and select Save and continue.  
   For a description of each skill configuration tab, see [GRC case summarization skill configuration fields](https://servicenow-prod.fluidtopics.net/HwpbETo4~~cn_GB7~DEIVg "Review the skill details on each configuration tab before activating the GRC case summarization skill. Even after activation, these fields can be edited to refine the AI-generated summary.").
5. On the Review and activate tab, verify the full configuration and select Activate.
6. **Optional:** Select Return to Risk \& Sustainability or close the dialog.
7. Select Done.  
   You're redirected to the AI Skills home page.

You can edit the skill configurations from the AI Admin Hub console after activation. For instructions, refer to .
