# Administering Live Feed

Administrators and users with the live_feed_admin role can configure Live Feed security and provide access to Live Feed from content management pages. Administrators can also set up Live Feed table notifications.  
Wichtig:  
Core UI is required to use Live Feed. Live Feed is not supported in Next Experience. If you turn on Next Experience, Live Feed is automatically disabled and will no longer work. See [Next Experience UI](https://www.servicenow.com/docs/access?context=next-experience-landing-page&version=australia&pubname=australia-platform-user-interface&ft:locale=en-US) for more information.

  Live feed table notifications generate automatic Live Feed messages. The Live Feed plugin must be activated to use table notifications.
