# Enable viewing related documents in a parent record

# Enable viewing related documents in a parent record {#ariaid-title1}

Add the Documents related list to the record to be able to link and view documents
related to the record.

## Vorbereitungen

Role required: admin

## Prozedur

1. Navigate to the record, (for example, Incident, Interaction, and so on).
2. Select the Additional Actions icon (![Additional actions icon]()) and select ConfigureRelated Lists .
3. Move Documents from the Available list to the Selected list.
4. Select Save.

## Ergebnisse

The Documents related list is added to the related lists available in the record.
