# Copy a quiz

Create a copy of a quiz with at least one category to reduce the effort of creating
another quiz with similar data.

## Vorbereitungen

Role required: assessment_admin or admin

## Warum und wann dieser Vorgang ausgeführt wird

All associated questions (type), configurations, categories, metrics, domain
separation rules, and role-based categories are copied. Assigned users, category
users, instances, and trigger conditions are not copied.

## Prozedur

1. Navigate to AllQuizzesQuizzes.
2. Select a quiz.
3. Perform any of the following steps.

   | Option | Description |
   | From Platform | In the title bar, click Copy. |
   | From Platform | In the title bar, select Copy from the context menu. |
   | From quiz designer | 1. In the title bar, click Quiz Designer. 2. In the Quiz Designer title bar, point to the menu icon on the header bar and click Copy Quiz {#copy-quiz__ol_wlz_5cl_l2f} |
