Reclassification tasks are created for CIs that couldn't be automatically reclassified during the identification process. Review these tasks to locate the CIs and decide if to reclassify them.

## Warum und wann dieser Vorgang ausgeführt wird

The properties you use to disable automatic CI reclassification determine whether reclassification tasks are created for those CIs that couldn't be automatically reclassified:

* Using any one of the 'glide.class.\<reclassification operation\>.enabled' properties (such as glide.class.upgrade.enabled): Reclassification tasks are created.
* Using any one of the 'glide.identification_engine.update_without_\<reclassification operation\>_enabled' properties (such as glide.identification_engine.update_without_switch_enabled): Reclassification tasks aren't created.

For more information about reclassification during IRE processing, see [Configure CI reclassification during IRE processing](https://servicenow-prod.fluidtopics.net/zRozBYxmxbwue3gCje1NMQ#c_CIReclassification "During the Identification and Reconciliation Engine (IRE) CI identification process, a CI might need to be reclassified to a different sys_class_name type. By default, CIs are reclassified automatically. If automatic reclassification is disabled, then the CI is not reclassified and the system generates a reclassification task for your review.").

After
examining the task details, you can locate the CI that is noted in the task
Description and manually reclassify it. For details, see
[Reclassify a CI](https://servicenow-prod.fluidtopics.net/0HOIvUaokimH~_EzVQ4ASw "You can upgrade, downgrade, or switch the class of a CI by modifying its Class attribute.").
