Several legacy statuses are automatically mapped to the Life Cycle Stage and Life Cycle Stage Status fields.

## Values that can be auto-updated {#csdm-lifecycle-status-auto-updated__section_q1s_s1n_rfc}

When you follow the procedure described in [Activate the CSDM plugin](https://servicenow-prod.fluidtopics.net/Lenl5YIwDiZLwNeovHbr2g "Activate the CSDM plugin so you can begin implementing the CSDM data model."), the following legacy statuses are automatically mapped to the Life Cycle Stage and Life Cycle Stage Status fields:

Legacy field values are not deleted after you map them to Life Cycle Stage and Life Cycle Stage Status values.
