# Search for an API or an API component in API Insights {#ariaid-title1}

Search for an API or an API component available within your organization in the API Insights workspace.

## Vorbereitungen

Role required: sn_api_insights_ws.api_mgmt_architect

## Prozedur

1. Navigate to WorkspacesAPI Insights.
2. In the Search APIs text box on the Overview tab, enter your search phrase and select Search.  
   Tipp:  
   Alternatively, after entering the search phrase, you can press the Enter key.
3. On the Search results page, select a tab to view more details.

   | Tab | Description |
   | APIs | List of APIs that match your search query, including their management platform, life cycle stage, and most recent discovery date. |
   | API components | List of individual components of APIs that match your search query, including their class, method, and URL. |
