# Find a space or user

# Find a space or user {#ariaid-title1}

All users in your organization, regardless of their role, can search for other users
and spaces. The results are ordered by current level or floor, current campus, and other
campuses.

## Prozedur

1. Perform one of the following options.

   | Type of user | Action |
   | User | Navigate to Self-ServiceFloor Pan. |
   | Facility role | Navigate to FacilitiesWorkbench. |
   |-|-|

2. Select User/Space in the search criteria box.
3. To help narrow your search results, you can select the campus, building, and floor number for your search.  
   Hinweis:  
   The facilities administrator configures the number of search results returned. See [Facilities visualization workbench configuration](https://servicenow-prod.fluidtopics.net/f2uMTxRpagBJKxDKzDBD_A "Space administrators configure properties on the workbench. In the application navigator, Facilities > Workbench Configuration contains the configuration settings divided into sections.").
4. On the Spaces tab, enter the user's name or space name in the search field.
5. Press the Enter key to submit your search criteria.  
   Search results are returned in the following order:
   * Current Level
   * Other in Campus
   * Other Campuses

6. Perform one of the following options.

   | Result | Action |
   | To see the space or user details | Click the link for the space or user. The details for that user or space open in a separate form. Hinweis: If the location is a space, users and facilities staff can create facilities requests from the room information. See [Create a facility request from the floor plan](https://servicenow-prod.fluidtopics.net/iaamYyDJHZ4D9kcnqv7UQg "All users in your organization can create any facility requests that your facilities admin [facilities_admin] has enabled on the floor plan view."). |
   | To see the location of the space or user on the floor plan | Click the pin ![Pin icon shows location on floor plan.]() icon, beside the link for the user or space. |
