An assignment group is usually allocated to a vulnerable item by using assignment rules. These rules are configured by the vulnerability administrator to allocate the correct assignment groups that are based on the data received from third-party scanners.

Use Vulnerability Assignment Recommendations to do the following actions:

• Request assignment group recommendations for a vulnerable item.
• Request assignment group recommendations for multiple vulnerable items.
• Request assignment group recommendations for a remediation task.
