You can compare the properties and relationships of a CI at two different points in
its timeline.

## Vorbereitungen

The CI must be in the Configuration Item \[cmdb_ci\] table or a descendant of this table. Auditing must be enabled for the table containing the CI.

Role required:
admin.

## Prozedur

1. Open the timeline for the CI.
2. Click Compare.
3. Select a Start date and an End date.
4. Click Compare.
