# Verify and troubleshoot the Edge Encryption proxy server installation {#ariaid-title1}

After your Edge Encryption proxy is
installed, you can verify the installation to locate problems or start and stop the
proxy.

## Vorbereitungen

Role required: admin

## Prozedur

1. Open the Edge Encryption proxy installer.
2. Select Verify Installation.
3. Click Proxy Directory and select the proxy directory.
4. Click Run Tests.

5. Click Next.  
   If an issue is encountered, you can move through the installer to correct the configuration. If no issues are encountered, the installer jumps to the Launch page. You can check the proxy status, stop the proxy, or start the proxy from the Launch page.
