# Modify notification email

# Modify the Password Reset

Users of the self-service Password Reset process receive an email
notification when they request password reset. You can modify the text of the email and
other aspects of the notification.

This process is relevant only if users are [Subscription-based notifications](https://www.servicenow.com/docs/access?context=c_SubscriptionBasedNotifications&version=australia&pubname=australia-platform-administration&ft:locale=en-US).

## Prozedur

1. Navigate to AllSystem NotificationNotifications.
2. Select the Password Reset URL notification.
3. Modify the text of the email in the What it will contain section.
