# Add opportunity associated contact

# Add an opportunity associated contact {#ariaid-title1}

Create opportunity for associated contacts to identify each contact's role when multiple stakeholders are involved.

## Vorbereitungen

Role required: opportunity_writer

## Prozedur

1. Navigate to List view ![]() and select Opportunity - All.
2. From the Opportunity List window, select the opportunity you want to work with and select the Contacts tab.
3. Select New to associate a contact from Account hierarchy or select an existing contact to make changes.  
   Hinweis:  
   Applicable only for Account-based opportunities and not consumer-based opportunities.
4. Fill in the fields in the Opportunity Associated Contact form.

   | Fields | Descriptions |
   |-|-|
   | Opportunity | The opportunity number. |
   | Contact | Name of the customer contact. |
   | Opportunity Role | Role assigned to an opportunity associated contact. Following contact roles (Related party types) are shipped by default: * Business user * Decision maker * Economic buyer * Evaluator * Executive sponsor * Influence {#add-opportunity-associated-contact__ul_om2_4hx_ygc} However, more roles can be configured. |
   | Account | Account of the contact. |
   | Primary | Primary opportunity role. |
   | Notes | Enter work notes for reference. |

5. Select Save.  
   The Opportunity Associated Contact information is added to the main opportunity.
