# Refresh a response with new data

# Refresh a response with new data {#ariaid-title1}

Look at the age of the response to a question in an AI Data Explorer exploration. Then regenerate the response with fresh data.

## Vorbereitungen

Role required: now_assist_explorer_user and ownership or editing rights to the
exploration.

## Prozedur

1. Launch AI Data Explorer.

2. Open an exploration that has questions and responses that may be out of date.
3. Locate a response of interest and hold the cursor over View source.  
   You see how long ago the AI generated the response, along with a Refresh button.  

4. If you decide that the data in the response is too old, select Refresh.

## Ergebnisse

The visualization, summary, and suggested follow-up questions in the response are all
refreshed.  
Hinweis:  
Refreshing a response removes all changes that you made manually to the text in the summary.
