  • Edit an existing service owned by your team. For each service that you support in SR Ops, provide general information about the service and about the SR Ops team that supports it.

    Role required: sro_admin

    Prozedur

    1. Navigate to All > Site Reliability Operations > Site Reliability Ops Workspace.
    2. Click the Services page icon (Services page icon.).
    3. On the Services Overview page, click to open the service that you want to update.
      The Details tab is selected by default.
    4. On the form, fill in the fields.

      Field Description
      Name Name of the service.
      Description Description of the overall service that will help others to understand the purpose of the service and other relevant information.
      Business criticality The Business criticality value as set in the CMDB. This value comes from the CMDB.
      Version The Version value as set in the CMDB. This value comes from the CMDB.
      Operational status The Operational status value as set in the CMDB. This value comes from the CMDB.
      Environment The Environment value as set in the CMDB. This value comes from the CMDB.
      Support team The SR Ops team that supports the service.

    5. To open the service for editing in the canvas view, click the Relationships tab.
      The content in the canvas is visible as read-only.
    6. To edit the service information, click Edit relationships.
    7. To save the updated service details after editing, click Save Relationships.

    The general service settings are configured. In the next procedure, you set up the integration with push connector that sends messages to the service.
