# Add or delete tag keys

# Add or delete tag keys for Tag Categorization {#ariaid-title1}

Add or delete tag keys to ensure that they align with your requirements for data management and classification.

## Vorbereitungen

Verify that you have installed version 1.16.3 of Service Mapping Plus to access to the CI tag category and CI tag key tables. For more information, see [Install Service Mapping Plus](https://servicenow-prod.fluidtopics.net/8C6Z7uKxiccHrRla4kID3g "You can install the Service Mapping Plus application (sn_sm_scoped_app) if you have the admin role. The application installs related ServiceNow Store applications and plugins if they are not already installed.").

Role required: tag_governance_admin

## Prozedur

1. Navigate to AllTag GovernanceTag Categories.
2. Verify that you are in the leaf domain.
   1. In the page header, select the globe icon .
   2. Select Domain scope, and choose the appropriate leaf domain.

3. Select the tag category to which you want to add or delete tag keys.
4. Under CI tag keys, either add a new tag key or delete an existing tag key.

   | Add a tag key | 1. Double-click the empty row under Tag key, where you see Insert a new row. 2. In the field, add a key name. 3. Select the Save icon ![Check mark](). 4. 5. If you want to apply your changes immediately rather than waiting for the automatic update within 24 hours, select the Re-Categorize Tags button.
