# Set up Cloud Configuration Governance for Microsoft Azure {#ariaid-title1}

Set up access to the Microsoft Azure cloud accounts in Cloud Configuration Governance to enable interaction between the application and the cloud.
The application requires access to the cloud accounts of your organization to scan the cloud
resources for non-compliant configurations and remediate them.

## Vorbereitungen

Make sure the follow tasks are complete:

1. You have migrated from CAPI to patterns. For more details, see [Migrate from CAPI to Patterns](https://servicenow-prod.fluidtopics.net/6blpNqlS~NtybAnuYk3QpA "Migrate from Cloud API (CAPI)-based Cloud Discovery to Patterns-based Cloud Discovery. The task requires supported instance and few plugins. Migration works for Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure. Administrator can perform this task after the initial instance is set up.").
2. The Microsoft Azure credentials to access the Microsoft Azure account have been created. For more information, see [Create Azure cloud credentials](https://servicenow-prod.fluidtopics.net/mq6rN7mT2fWuIxOrkErf9w "If your cloud resources are in an Azure cloud, create credentials that can access the Azure account. This procedure requires configuration in your Azure account.").
3. Your Azure service accounts have been configured. For more information, see [Set up Azure service accounts](https://servicenow-prod.fluidtopics.net/rQRiCXPXbGkfsVVIoYzNDg "Create and configure cloud service accounts at ServiceNow AI Platform for the corresponding Microsoft Azure accounts.").

## Prozedur

1. Create an Integration Hub connection for Microsoft Azure.
   1. Navigate to Process AutomationFlow Designer, and select the Integrations tab.
   2. On the Azure Connection tile, select Add Connection.
   3. On the form, fill in the fields.

      | Field | Description |
      |-|-|
      | Connection name | Name of the connection. |
      | OAuth client ID | Microsoft Azure application ID. |
      | OAuth client secret | Microsoft Azure application key. |
      | OAuth token URL | Tenant ID of the Microsoft Azure account. Replace <kbd class="ph userinput">{tenant}</kbd> with the Microsoft Azure tenant ID. |

   4. Select Create and Get OAuth Token.

2. Run datacenter discovery to identify the datacenters attached with the service accounts.
