    • The Firewall Audits and Reporting dashboard offers Security and Risk teams a centralized hub for comprehensive oversight of firewall-related tasks, change requests, and the entire inventory life cycle. This consolidated view enhances efficiency, facilitates informed decision-making, and streamlines management for robust security and risk operations.

    As a team member, access the Firewall Audits and Reporting dashboard to review audit history, track ongoing and incomplete tasks, and identify policies without assigned owners for potential removal. Dashboard numbers are updated daily or can be refreshed manually.

    End user and roles

    End user and goal Required role Benefits
    Risk teams firewall_admin or firewall_user Visibility into audit history, progress tracking, and identification of unassigned policies, facilitating informed decision-making and proactive risk management.
    Security firewall_admin or firewall_user Visibility into trends by directly accessing the analytics hub from the dashboard through the top sections.

    Use case

    To update the dashboard manually, navigate to Performance Analytics > Data Collector > Jobs and select Firewall Scheduled Job. Open the record and select Execute Now to update the dashboard elements with the latest information.

    Reports

    Title Type Description
    Audit Response History Bar A graphical representation of Firewall Audit response tasks that were created in the last three years or the latest 10 audit requests (which ever is earlier) grouped by audit requests. These are color-coded by state.
    Rule Request History Column A graphical representation of Firewall Rule tasks that were created in the last six months. These are grouped by month and color-coded by state.
