# Manage scheduled tasks

# Manage scheduled tasks in Dispatcher Workspace {#ariaid-title1}

As a dispatcher, you can move scheduled tasks to the Assigned state or move them back to the Pending dispatch state in Dispatcher Workspace.

## Vorbereitungen

Role required: wm_dispatcher or wm_crew_moderator

## Prozedur

1. Navigate to AllField ServiceDispatchingDispatcher Workspace.
2. View the list of all scheduled tasks, including crew tasks, in the dispatcher group by selecting Scheduled Tasks in the Tasks filter.
3. Assign or update a scheduled task.

   | Option | Steps |
   | Assign a scheduled task | 1. Select a task card or a calendar event. 2. Select the overflow icon. 3. Select Confirm Assignment. 4. Select Save. {#scheduled-tasks-workspace__ol_yfr_cqy_3sb} |
   | Unassign a scheduled task | 1. Select a calendar event. 2. Select the overflow icon. 3. Move a scheduled task to the Pending dispatch state by selecting Unassign task. {#scheduled-tasks-workspace__ol_ohw_fqy_3sb} |
   | Reschedule a scheduled task | 1. Drag and drop a scheduled task to a different time slot on the calendar. 2. Select the Set to 'Assigned' check box. Hinweis: This option appears only if the scheduled task starts beyond the 12-hour threshold. {#scheduled-tasks-workspace__ol_zxs_l4z_3sb} |
   | Edit the duration of a scheduled task | 1. Move to the side of the calendar event bar. 2. Select and drag to adjust the start or end time of a task. Hinweis: The travel duration won't be affected. |
   | Remove time gaps between tasks | 1. Select and hold (or right-click) on a task in the calendar. 2. Select Remove time gap.
