# Hide a topic recommendation

You can choose to ignore a topic recommendation by hiding it. Doing so hides it for
everyone on the instance. You can still view hidden recommendations and show it again
later.

Role required: virtual_agent_admin or admin

Topic recommendations are hidden only when View is set to
All (aggregate view). Hidden recommendation cards will
still display when View is set to By Source. The status on the card is Hidden.

## Prozedur

1. Navigate to AllConversational InterfacesVirtual AgentTopic Recommendations.
2. Select the info icon ![Info icon.]() to open the overlay card for a topic that has a New status.
3. Select Hide.

## Ergebnisse

The recommendation is hidden from the list. To view hidden recommendations, slide the
Show hidden toggle switch to enable it.

To return a recommendation's status to New, select the info icon ![Info icon.]() to open the overlay card for the topic, and then select Don't hide.
