# Register Basic Authentication

Register basic authentication for your inbound API integrations to effectively monitoring their API usage on the Inbound API Usage Dashboard.

## Vorbereitungen

Role required: oauth_admin, web_service_admin

## Prozedur

1. Navigate to AllSystem Web ServicesInbound API Integration Usage dashboardRegistered integrations.
2. Select New on the Integration Provider Registries page or choose the existing record from the list.  
   Hinweis:  
   The Integration Provider Registries page, shows all the inbound integration records.
3. Specify the following fields to register the integration:

   | Field | Description |
   |-|-|
   | Authentication type | Options: * Basic Auth * OAuth {#register-basic-authentication__ul_ucn_dbn_3hc} |
   | Basic Auth User | Use the look up icon to select or create a basic authentication user. |
   | Provider name | Specify the provider name. |
   | Integration name | Specify the integration name. Hinweis: The integration name is auto filled for OAuth based on the OAuth entity name. |

4. Select Submit.
