    About this task

    Location‑based holiday calendars streamline workforce scheduling by aligning regional holidays with fixed and rotating shift patterns, enabling accurate shift planning and reduced manual effort. Administrators can configure user schedules, rotations, and task visibility to support diverse work arrangements. For example, U.S. Holidays, British Holidays, and Australian Holidays. For example, U.S. Holidays, British Holidays, and Australian Holiday.

    Procedure

    1. Navigate to All > Location Schedules and perform one of the following actions:
      Option Description
      Create a configuration from an existing event configuration
      • Select the desired configuration.
      • Right-click the form header and select Insert and Stay.
      A copy of the selected event type configuration is created.
      Create a new event configuration Select New to create new holiday event.
    2. On the form, fill in the fields:
      Name Enter a name for the holiday event
      Time zone Choose one of the following options:
      • Fixed: The holiday occurs at the same time for all agents
      • Floating: The holiday adjusts to each agent’s local time zone
      Application The current scope in which the record is created
      Description Provide the description of the holiday schedule
      Location Provide the location for which this schedule is applicable
    3. Perform one of the options:
      • If you created the configuration from an existing configuration, select Update.
      • If you created a new configuration, select  Submit.
    To delete a holiday events follow the below steps:
    1. Navigate toAll > . Shift Planning > Event Configuration , and open the Holiday Event type.
    2. In the Evaluate access for exclusion > Holiday – Any WFO User, set the Delete option to false.
      The holiday event is removed from the agent’s holiday calendar.
