Address sharing through account hierarchy

  • You can reuse the same address between multiple accounts within the account hierarchy.

    Before you begin

    Role required: One of the following roles:
    • admin
    • sn_customerservice_manager
    • sn_crm_account_data_manager
    • sn_crm_account_relationship_data_manager
    • sn_crm_foundation_data_manager
    • sn_crm_foundation_admin

    Procedure

    1. Navigate to All > Customer Service > Accounts.
    2. Select an account and navigate to Related List> Account Addresses.
    3. Select New.
    4. See all the locations associated with the selected account in the account hierarchy by selecting the search icon next to the Location field.
      Note:
      The Account field is already populated with the name of the account.
    5. In the Locations pop up, select the location that you want to reuse.

    6. Select Submit.
