# Install Health and Safety

# Install Health and Safety {#ariaid-title1}

Install Health and Safety to configure its settings and requests.

## Before you begin

Role required: admin

## Procedure

1. Navigate to AdminAdmin Home.
2. On the Core Business Suite Foundation card, select View product overview.
3. On the Core Business Suite Foundation page, select Health and Safety in the Install section.
4. Select Install, and then follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.  
   Note:  
   To install the latest versions, don't modify the items listed in the Review Installation Details dialog box.

   Required dependent plugins are installed automatically, and required roles are added. For information about the components installed with a plugin, see [Find components installed with an application](https://www.servicenow.com/docs/access?context=find-components&version=australia&pubname=australia-platform-administration&ft:locale=en-US).
5. Select Apply default configurations.  
   Applying default configurations sets the required default settings for the Health and Safety. For information about default configurations, see [Health and Safety default configurations](https://servicenow-prod.fluidtopics.net/SkFkdZSS5zZ1WVxbjZ3Y5Q "Details of the default configurations for Health and Safety.").

   If the default configurations aren't applied, run the script to apply them. For more information, see [Reapply the default configurations](https://servicenow-prod.fluidtopics.net/PDIs321FlVFff9wg5EWrfQ "If the default configurations aren’t applied for Core Business Suite or its business units, reapply the default configurations by running a script.").

## Result

The installed Health and Safety business unit appears in the ready to configure section.
