Import Knowledge Base articles from Word documents to populate your Core Business Suite knowledge bases with existing content.

## Before you begin

Role required: sn_cbs.admin

## About this task

Import articles from .doc or .docx files to quickly populate knowledge bases with existing documentation.{#import-kb-cbs__import-kb-cbs-context-1}

## Procedure

1. Navigate to Core Business SuiteConfigure.
2. Select Knowledge in Core Business Suite module under the Configuration Console.  
   You can perform the same steps to import articles under each business unit module.
3. Select the gear icon ![gear icon to get to Knowledge Base settings.]() on the default Knowledge Base at the Core Business Suite level or at a business unit-level.
4. Go to the Articles tab and select Upload files to import articles.  
   The supported formats to upload are .doc and .docx.
5. Select the Select file button and select Convert to article(s) to create a Knowledge Base article from your documents.  
   You can create one or many Knowledge Base articles at one time.

## Result

You have imported documents to create Knowledge Base articles in Core Business Suite.
