## Field descriptions

The following table describes the fields on the Create group form.{#groups-cbs-ref__groups-cbs-ref-p-1}

| Field | Description |
|-|-|
| Group name | Name of the group. This field is mandatory. |
| Group manager | User responsible for managing the group. |
| Group description | Description of the group purpose and function. This field is mandatory. |
| Assign people to this group | Users to add as members of the group. |
| Assign role | Role to assign to all members of the group. |
