# Modify an app's settings in ServiceNow Studio {#ariaid-title1}

Modify an app's settings in ServiceNow Studio to update the name, description, scoping, or other metadata. Use the Related Links section to publish the app, manage collaborators, and more.

## Before you begin

Role required: admin or delegated_developer

## Procedure

1. Navigate to AllApp EngineServiceNow Studio.
2. Open the application you want to update.
3. Select App details to open the app in the canvas.  
   The App details page opens for the selected application.
4. Select the more options icon ![](), then select Settings.  
   The app settings page opens in a new tab. Use this page to view and edit application scoping, design and runtime, subscription management, primary menu, and end user access settings. The Related Links section enables you to publish your app, manage collaborators, and more.
5. On the Custom application form, fill in the fields.

6. Select Update.  
   Your changes are saved to the app record.
7. Return to the App details tab for the application.
8. Select the reload app details icon ![]() to apply the changes from the App settings tab.  
   The App details page refreshes and displays the updated app settings.
