# Create a scripted web service using a static WSDL {#ariaid-title1}

To use a static WSDL, create a scripted web service.

## Before you begin

Role required: web_service_admin or admin

## Procedure

1. Navigate to AllSystem Web ServiceScripted Web Services.
2. Click New.
3. Enter a Name for the scripted SOAP web service such as FakeStockValue.
4. Enter a Script for the web service to run.
5. Click Submit.
