The ODBC driver embeds a third party SQL/ODBC engine from DataDirect, a division of Progress Software.

SQL syntax.  
Note:  
The ServiceNow ODBC driver only supports `SELECT` statements. The driver ignores other SQL statements such as `CREATE` and `ALTER`.
