Adding or creating scripts to a remote record producer
As a provider, you can perform more complex tasks and gain better control over catalog requests from consumers by using various scripts in a remote record producer (RRP). Consumers must approve all scripts to use the RRP.
In Service Exchange, you can apply scripts to an RRP by:
- Creating catalog client scripts: You can create catalog item scripts to customize an RRP. For details, see Create catalog client scripts.
- Adding scripts in variables: You can add scripts in a variable and use the variable in the RRP. For details see Create variables for remote record producers in Service Exchange for Providers.
- Adding scripts in UI policies: You can add scripts in a UI policy and apply the UI policy on an RRP. For details, see Service catalog UI policy.
